In this class, you will be using a private bulletin board, sponsored and maintained by Central Community College. This board allows the general public, if they find the board, to read its contents, but only registered members are allowed to post on the boards themselves. This means that all students who need to use the bulletin boards for their classes need to be sure to register for the boards.
To begin with, you will need to go to the bulletin board. Your instructor will either give you the link, or will have a link available on the class website.
Note that it asks you to login. You can login at any time while you are at the bulletin board, but you will not be able to post until you have logged in.
Click on the "Login" button located in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
Once you are logged in, your username is added to the information at the top of the page.
This is the screen that you see when a particular forum/question is chosen.
In most classes, you will be able to "post a reply," but not create a "new topic." You must be logged in to post a reply.
Clicking on "Post Reply" brings up this screen.
Users can type their reply directly into the form, or cut and paste it from a word processor.
Once you are done with your post, click on the submit button and you are done.
